Edwin A. Combalicer

Forestry, Outstanding Young Scientist (2013)

Expertise: Agriculture and Forestry, Civil Engineering, Plant & Animal Science, Watershed Management, GIS/RS Applications

Dr. Edwin A. Combalicer is recognized of his outstanding works in the fields of hydrology, watershed management, and climate change. His researches are focused on watershed characterization, vulnerability assessment, and management, development of basic early warning system on flooding, climate change vulnerability and adaptation assessment, and establishment and management of fuel wood plantation. He developed a simulation method in determining water balance fluxes in response to climate change which can serve as baseline information for mitigating the effects of climate change.
