Dr. Arnold M. Guloy is recognized for his important contributions in the field of an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Houston. He received a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of the Philippines in 1984 and a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from Iowa State University in 1990. Guloy was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the IBM T. J. Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, New York until 1993, when joined UH. His research interests include inorganic solid-state chemistry, chemistry of main-group elements, synthesis and characterization of intermetallics, organic-inorganic hybrid compounds, and metal halides.
