Dr. Mariano Estoque is recognized for his important contributions in the field of the Head of the Regional Climate Studies Project of the Manila Observatory and is a Professorial Lecturer at the Institute of Environmental Science and Meteorology of the University of the Philippines. His research interests include climatology of rainfall, mesoscale meteorology and air pollution meteorology. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geodetic Engineering from the University of the Philippines and a Ph.D. in Meteorology from the New York University.
